How it works
From a URL to an AI-agent-ready business profile, step by step. Deterministic extraction first — nothing is invented.
The process
1. Submit a URL
Paste your website address on the scan page. Free, no signup required — anonymous visitors get 2 scans per day.
2. We crawl your site
Our crawler, AgentizeBot, fetches your key pages — home, contact, about, services, pricing, FAQ, policies — politely and within your plan's page limit. It respects robots.txt. Details on the about page.
3. We extract the facts
Business identity, services, products, prices, locations, languages, contact and booking methods, FAQs, policies, trust signals, and existing structured data. Deterministic parsing: if it isn't on your site, it isn't in your profile.
4. We score your readiness
The AgentReady Score rates your site from 0 to 100 across the 7 categories below, with plain-English issues and recommendations for each gap.
5. You get the kit
A structured business profile plus generated files: llms.txt, Schema.org JSON-LD, a standalone /ai-agents page, and knowledge base exports.
6. You get listed, claim, and receive leads
Your profile joins the public directory. Claim it to edit the data and receive quote and booking requests directly.
The AgentReady Score
| Category | Max points | What we check |
|---|---|---|
| Discoverability | 20 | Can agents find and parse your pages? Titles, meta descriptions, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, clean headings, internal links. |
| Structured data | 20 | Schema.org JSON-LD presence and correct typing for your business, plus Open Graph metadata. |
| Business clarity | 20 | A clear business name, explicit services and products, prices, and locations an agent can extract without guessing. |
| Action readiness | 15 | Contact methods, booking links, and forms an agent can point a user to: email, phone, WhatsApp, reservation pages. |
| Trust & policy clarity | 10 | Policies, terms, and trust signals — reviews, years in business, certifications — stated where machines can read them. |
| AI-specific readiness | 10 | llms.txt, an agent-facing page, and FAQ content written so assistants can quote it accurately. |
| Multilingual readiness | 5 | Declared languages and hreflang annotations so agents serve the right audience. |
| Total | 100 |
0–30: Not agent-ready 31–50: Weak 51–70: Acceptable 71–85: Good 86–100: Excellent
What the kit contains
llms.txt
A root-level Markdown file summarizing your business — name, description, key pages, contact methods, and explicit instructions for AI agents. Upload it to your site at /llms.txt.
Schema.org JSON-LD
Structured data typed for your category — LodgingBusiness for hotels, Restaurant for food, Organization for brands, LocalBusiness for services — plus FAQPage when you have FAQs. Paste it into your site's <head>.
/ai-agents page
A complete, self-contained HTML page written for AI agents: summary, services, pricing guidance, location, FAQs, booking instructions, and no-hallucination rules. Host it at /ai-agents on your own domain.
Knowledge base exports
Your full profile as Markdown, JSON, YAML, CSV, or TXT — ready to feed a chatbot, an assistant's context window, or an agency handoff.
Claiming your profile
- Find your business in the directory — or scan your site to create its profile.
- Click Claim this profile on the profile page (free account required).
- Choose a verification method: an email address on the same domain, a file upload to your site, or a phone callback.
- We review the evidence manually — usually within a few days.
- Once approved, you can edit your business data, keep it accurate, and receive leads.
Leads
Every profile has a Request a quote form. When a visitor — or an AI agent acting for one — submits a request, it is validated and routed: claimed profiles receive it by email immediately; unclaimed profiles are handled manually by our team, which is also how we invite owners to claim.
Lead fees and commissions apply only when the network produces validated value, and are informational at MVP — see pricing.
