A practical way to publish clear business facts on an older website
Published 2026-09-13
If your agency maintains Joomla, WordPress or older websites, the useful first step in preparing their content for AI tools is familiar: make the facts accurate, accessible and easy to check.
I'm Giulio, the creator of Agentize. We recently used it to prepare a set of public information files for 14 websites we own. Here is the method, the evidence and what it does not prove.
Start with the facts
Automatic extraction needs review. An article mentioning a taxi fare does not establish an accommodation price. A privacy heading is not a service. A login link is not a booking link.
We reviewed the source information, removed unverified commercial claims and generated three consistent outputs per site:
- agents.html: a readable page with key facts and links to the original pages.
- schema.json: structured information in JSON-LD.
- llms.txt: a compact text summary with useful links.
You can inspect a real published example: Appartamenti Corralejo's information page.
Publish, link and check
The practical workflow is to review the profile, export the files, upload them to the existing website, add the supplied links and check the public responses. Your hosting must permit file uploads and template links. No application code is required on the destination site.
On 13 September 2026, we checked all 42 static files across our 14 sites. Every file returned HTTP 200, used the expected content type, passed format checks and matched the approved copy byte for byte. These results cover our own websites.
Agentize's latest publication kit also includes a manifest and a sitemap for the information page, plus integration instructions. That newer five-file kit is separate from the three-file rollout described above.
Make this a useful maintenance service
For an agency, the deliverable is concrete: reviewed business information, public files on the client's own domain and a record of what was checked. Keep source links, give each review a date and regenerate the files when facts change. Uploading a snapshot does not keep it current automatically.
Availability is the result we have verified. We have not established an increase in AI crawling, recommendations, citations, rankings or sales, and we do not present llms.txt as a ranking shortcut.
